When only a box will do

aa017ad4-ed91-4410-8994-d83e04a5e48fWelcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop!  Today’s hop is filled with inspiring projects that share lots of Holiday Cheer.  We are excited to share our projects and hope you’ll find great inspiration from our talented team members in this hop.  After you read my post, I  hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

There are times when a box is the only thing that will do.  Through a series of weird events I ended up with a gift delivered to my house that was actually for my daughters boss.  I told you it was weird.  Anyway, she asked me to hold onto the items, they were three bottles of DoTerra Essential Oils and if you haen’t tried these essential oils, you should.  They are amazing and they have an oil for just about every ailment.  But I digress.  Back to my story.

So I had these three little bottles that I couldn’t just hand over Kelsey, I’m a paper crafter.  I have to make this into a gift.  That’s where the Gift Box Punch Board comes in handy.  01-IMG_0341

The punch board is so handy with all the various sizes.  I measured the three bottles together and determined that a 3.25 x 3.25 x 1.75 box would fit them perfectly. I happened to have some printed holiday Kraft paper left over from last years holiday season and cut it down to the size indicated on the board.  These boxes don’t technically require any adhesive but I like to put glue dots inside to hold the folds together.  A nice wide piece of Cherry Cobbler ribbon with a pretty tag totally cased from Mary Fish at StampinPretty.com finished it off. I used Your Presents with Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black and a Cherry Cobbler Candy dot.

What a better way to spread holiday cheer.  Kelsey was very appreciative that I created the pretty packaging for her, saving her the step of wrapping.  I know her boss will love the gift.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop,  Brian King at Stamp with Brian.  There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!  To order any of the products I used in my project, click on the pictures below or the Shop button on the menu bar above.
